Fustic Chips (For Dyeing Fabric)
Fustic chips are also referred to as Old Fustic or Dyer’s Mulberry. It’s made from ‘Heartwood’, the Latin name for the plant being Maclura Tinctoria. This tree is found originally within the forests of Brazil and the Caribbean. It yields a range of colours from strong dark yellows to an attractive peach colour on silk, cotton and wool. It’s best known for creating the classic Khaki brown color in clothing. Our Fustic chips are 100% natural and have nothing extra added in line with our natural dye promise.
